The Tisburys
The Tisburys
The Tisburys originated as an acoustic duo that was formed at the bottom of Clarks Summit, a suburb of Scranton, Pennsylvania. After years of playing in the coffee shops, the band, now based in Philadelphia, expanded into a four-piece playing loud and experimental folk-rock with Americana influences.
Mother Moses
Mother Moses is a folk/rock band that was formed in 2013 by singer, songwriter, and guitarist Jon Cox. The band consists of Jon , Ellen "The Steam Freak" Shultz (Vocalist), Steve "The Fat Neck Slapper" Bunce (bassist, vocalist), and Dylan" The Ham Master" Vadakin (drummer). They've spent the last year playing local shows and working to release their debut album, Slow The Fire. The entire band met at Berklee College Of Music. Although Jon arrived at school with 6 years of experience playing in rock bands, he realized quickly that the competitive nature of the guitar world at Berklee wasn't for him. This shift in his style coincided with a deep, growing admiration for acoustic and vocally driven music, thus inspiring the songs on his first album.
